Q: Why do you want to drive around the world?
A: During our previous overland expeditions, we got the chance to exchange ideas and culture with the local people. When we returned to the US, then, we became local ambassadors, able to share names and faces, tell stories, and offer more meaningful explanations of cultural practices that seemed foreign to us. 

This trip should be the same. With the knowledge and experience we bring back, we can give our communities and our Website viewers an in-depth look at places and cultures they would otherwise never experience. Instead of relying on a one-dimensional textbook, our followers can experience the sounds, flavors, pictures, traditions, language, arts, and ways of life that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience. 

Q: What benefits do you think this trip will have? 
A: I feel a trip like this would benefit both foreign countries and the United States in the grass roots ways I previously described. At this point, most of us have only heard about the beauties of the world, or perhaps seen them in books, television, or on the Internet. By driving around the world in these antediluvian Land Rovers, we hope to accomplish the same goals that resulted from our Belize trip. We hope to build bridges of understanding between our communities in the United States and those communities that we experience in our travels.

A: I really don’t want to be lying underneath a Land Rover, fixing a blown overdrive in sub-zero weather.
