Jeff covers the trip out of China and into Nepal. Apparently
there was a huge traffic jam on the way into Kathmandu. Fortunately
the Team's affinity for the golden hits of the 80's saved the day (just
read it and you'll understand).
Taking a well-deserved rest day in Kathmandu, Todd and Chanda take a trip
into the shopping district in search of interesting religious artifacts.
Once again Todd reveals his talent for providing interesting local color.
Chanda provides her impressions of Kathmandu. Lots of really nice local
color in this entry, along with some cool info on the local legend of the
Yeti, otherwise known as the Abominable Snowman!
Doug covers the trip out of Nepal and into India. Land Rover fans will
want to hear his account of a river crossing that could have gone better.
He then goes into some detail on the Indian
Diwali
festival, which takes place at this time each year.
